This tool crimps large 1.25" Diameter PEX tubing.
Why Copper Crimps? Ask any plumber, they will tell you that a Copper Crimp is preferred because its a 360 degree crimp. Unlike Stainless Steel Ratchet style crimps, which have the majority of their holding power limited to where the cinch is, and not equally around the joint.
Description: This tool was created to address the need for a close quarters Crimper for those large Wood Boiler or Industrial Water lines. It will fit in between floor joists or in 'hard to reach spots' and give you the mechanical advantage needed for a solid, leak-proof crimp every time.
Its easy to use, just remove the bolts, put the 2 halves of the crimper around the copper ring. Replace the bolts, and tighten the 2 halves together. Because the tool is calibrated to the proper diameter, you get a perfect crimp every time. The bolts are Hardened Grade 8, so you can use a wrench, ratchet or even a screw gun with a socket if space allows. Its made of solid steel and will provide you with perfect crimps for years.
